Help me save the morality of the Boy Scouts of America.

Good Morning, this is a day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it !!! But it is also a sad day in our Nation.... When a group known for moral stances are starting to listen to the views of a few... That group is the: Boy Scouts of America, there is a petition going on from certain groups to end the Boy Scouts long stance on having gay scout leaders (openly gay). Therefore I would like to start another petition that supports their long standing stance to continue. To the Christians: lets stand for Jesus right now!!!! We know what our GOD can accomplish with the help of a few. (remember Chick fil-A last yr ?) The Scouts Oath is: On my honor I will do my best To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. With this oath to God and also to be morally straight how can they allow gay leaders or any immorality (leading our boys !) ???? Let's make a stand !!! Who will stand with me ?

Walking threw the Valley alone ?

Psalm 23:4 - “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.”



DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:

There’s nothing, my friend, that will bring you more face-to-face with God than going through the dark valleys of life. When you are there, you are going to cling to His garments and hold onto His hand. You won’t stray far from the fold in the dark. Do you believe that He is with you? The ultimate Sovereign is your loving Savior. You will not have to cross Jordan alone. You will not appear before the judgment of a Holy God alone. You are not going to die alone.



ACTION POINT:

What a joyful promise! You are not alone! Write these words on a card and post it in a place where you can see it all the time: “I am not alone. God is with me.”

Where is God in all of this ???

So, if God is so loving...then where is He?? many will wonder and try to figure this out,so let me give you my understanding of Scripture..




First we must understand that this world's problems are our fault's....yes,that's right, well let me explain, by going to the beginning....



This Scripture is from Romans 5:12, (Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:)



So what we (mankind) must understand is simply this, because of our

disobediance to God's way, and stubborn attitute, sin entered into this once perfect world....by the choice of one man named Adam... Well you might ask, well you might ask how does Adam play in all this....well, Adam represented all mankind in a perfect state, meaning this, he was made with-out sin and no model of sin, until they (Adam and Eve) disobeyed God.. and here's the thing, God had told them they would die (which was an immediate spiritual death-which is separtion from God- remember God removed them from His garden He had for them)if they ate from the tree that He commanded him (Adam) not to eat from...Why did Adam eat...well, the same reason we sin today..we are tempted from the evil one...Satan (the accuser of the brethren)..



But that is the reason behind all sin and death and suffering in the world today folks....our disobedience to God, the Creator.. But the good news is that God provided a way back to Him, and that way is threw the death of His only begotten (unique) Son, the Lord Jesus Christ..(John 3:16- for God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son and whosoever believeth on Him should Not die (spiritual death) but have everlasting life... Don't you want that???



That's good news....
